    McDonald's' iconic golden arches are recognized by more people than the cross
  • McDonald's golden arches are the most recognized symbol in the world.

A survey by Sponsorship Research International found that 88 percent could identify the arches and only 54 percent could name the Christian cross.

In 1974, Ray Kroc, the man who started the golden arch empire.said he was in the real estate business.Here's the way he explained it: his primary business focus was to sell franchises of the restaurant. He knew, however that real estate and location were the most important factors of success for each franchise.

  1. The best thing about this article isn't the amazing facts that it portrays, which in fact are very good, but this article gave away the name of the founder of McDonald's which none of us had ever care to known !

  3. most amusing of all was the white arches in Paris and how an individual in real estate business is now the owner of multi-billionaire conglomerate i.e.MR.RAY KROC.
